Training for a job before EAD

Hey All

I have been recently married but within the 90 days stipulation, and plan to apply for AOS by the end of this month.

My question is this:

Am researching the possibility of working from home after getting my EAD. At this point however, I would like to apply with an Online Work from Home Partner and complete my training so that by the time i get my EAD ( hopefully by Feb 2015,) I would be eligible to work and be compensated

I should add that the training process can be lengthy, entails paying for classes and learning the client's system during which time I would receive NO money.

Would this be ok?

Why r u paying for classes? Why r u not getting paid for training? Buyer beware of scams for work at home programs.

The answer is no to the training as you have to be an employee to have access to the training, hence you are working prior to EAD.

Thanks Pink, but its a requirement...Also I would not be an employee..not even when i start working with them and being paid...Would be considered as self employed and required to pay own taxes etc...

P.S. Not a scam but thanks for the heads up
