Administrative processing after interview in Montreal?

So I had my interview on Wednesday and was approved without problem. The officer told me I'd get my passport in one to 1.5 weeks. This morning, the CEAC tracker changed to "Issued" but also says

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Does this mean they're screwing with us again? Will we have to wait another couple weeks until they get their act together? Please somebody explain what AP means in this case. (In case it matters: I'm a German citizen with Canadian PR)

No, I think this is them saying that they are taking the time to insert your visa page in your passport. Don't worry.

Okay, that's a bit of a relief. I guess the term "Administrative Processing" in this forum usually means "wait for a really long time," so I was quite worried.

Okay, all is good. Status just changed to

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.c...ier_information to track your courier waybill.

Nothing in the Loomis system yet, but this sounds good.
