Hi! I had to leave the US without getting married because of a family emergency 20 days after my arrival in the US. What are our optiona now? Getting married in my country and file for the spouse visa? What is the processing time for that type of visa?

I was reading on a forum that if I leave the U.S. without a travel document, the consulate may be able to revalidate my visa back in my home country.

You have to contact the US consulate in your home country asap.

Ask them about K1 reissuance possibility.

My situation was like yours and managed to get my K1 reissued by the US consulate.

You have to act fast.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

As stated, K-1 re-issuance is an option but you must act quickly. The embassy can only re-issue it with the same original expiration date.

Contact the embassy ASAP.
