Hi Everyone,

I wish to ask for assistance. My fiancé's home address has issues with receiving mail for some reason (building is just over a year old and apparently wasn't set up correctly), so she has mail usually sent to her workplace. In regards to the whole filing process, I worry that if anything is sent to her directly it will not route correctly. Can you please confirm and what is my best possible contingency? Before I request my fiancé to mail over her signature G-325A and "Letter of Intent" forms (I was informed signature copies, even high scanned ones are not acceptable) I want to confirm if I should have her mention a different address or not. Please help.

Thank you

I have sort of the same issue with my Fiancee's mailing address since Abu Dhabi doesn't have actual numerical addresses. She used her work address as her mailing address on the G-325A since she receives all her mail at her job and for her personal address she just listed the area she lives in. My attorney said it was all that was needed so lets see what happens.

Same here. Chinese addresses are horrible, and even though she lives in a very old apartment, my fiancee cannot get mail delivered there. She has listed her workplace's address for all mail. It is completely normal there. Even when I send her flowers I have to be sure to send them her mobile phone number so they can find the place.

Also, she is not required to send any originally signed documents to the US for the I-129f petition. Scanned copies are all that is required from the foreign beneficiary. However she must be prepared to bring them to the interview.

USCIS Memoranda stating that the foreign beneficiaries original signature is not required at the time of filing the I-129f petition. This was presented to me by my attorney and we had not had a problem in regards to signatures of my Chinese fiancee.

It has been this way since 2005, but some people still spread lies about needing the original signature.

the packet 3 info can be found online , so that's a plus.

she'll need to somehow get registered at ustraveldocs.com/cn after the I-129F approval, and read a lot there (you can also)

and in the end, must submit stuff into CITIC BANK in her town, who in turn, submit it to GUZ IV.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your feedback! I'm thinking then to substitute her address in all documents (I-129F / section 3 and "Letter of Intent") to her workplace address and leave her home address referenced on the I-129F on section 29. Does this sound good?

Hi Mike and Yaoling. Thank you for the feedback. Due to various postings and mixed feedback I've seen on the community and what I found via other searches results prior, this has gotten my partner and myself paranoid that we'll do the safer bet anyway and just submit over the originals. I'm going to request 3 signature documents each for both the G325-a and her signature "Letter of Intent." 1 will be mailed, 1 will be prepped when I send for her interview process when we get to that stage and 1 will be an extra backup copy for me to warehouse.

I'm paranoid myself when it comes to this stuff. I have 3 copies of everything myself. My fiancé says that I am so wasteful. Ni shi langfei! :) I notarized some translations for no good reason and even hired an immigration attorney because of the craziness that is the Chinese postal system. :) it makes me wonder about the origin of the phrase "Chinese fire drill", I imagine the delivery guys running around in circles, up and down the street, trying to find my baby's apartment, haha.

My fiancé pays a yearly water deposit and rent for a year or 6 months at a time. Most things in cash. Things like mobile phone or Internet are paid online with the bank card. Bills are sent as text messages or phone calls.
