Hi.

I'm trying to fill out form N-400. I have a question about Part 1 Information about your illegibility. I'm not sure witch box I should check because both boxes 1 and 2 apply to me since I lived in the states for over 5 years and I also have been married and living to the same us citizen spouse.

I was wondering if picking one option over the other would make a difference in the process.

how many years have you been a GC holder?

if you've been a GC holder over 5 years, then you will apply based on the 5 year rule and not based o marriage

Yeah Ive been a GC holder for almost 7 years. Thx for the reply :)
