Has anyone here got experience in filing an L1A for a new office? Basically, it's a Visa for opening up a new branch office in the United States of your overseas company, granted to senior/management executives ....



I entered US on L1A in July 2010 (for one year) and moved out in Jun 2011. The petition was approved in one week in May 2010.



Does anyone here know the nature of RFEs received on a fresh L1A for a new office, if any? I have filed for a fresh L1A, in Oct 2014, it's filed in premium processing, but the status update continues to be "Initial Review"



Does anyone here know what do they check during this review period?

The Business Plan is key, and then meeting it when you come up for renewal.
