Hello all,

I filed I-751 a few weeks ago and just received the ASC appointment notice for my biometrics today.

However, this notice lists two Application/Petition/Request Numbers at the top of the notice, both starting with EAC. One number is valid on the www.uscis.gov website to track the status of my case, but the other number is invalid. Why did I get two numbers? Has anyone gotten two numbers?

If you know anything and share with me, I would appreciate it very much.

All the best.

It's me, eagleton33 again.

Just to clarify, two different numbers appear like, "EAC########## - EAC##########," all in one column that says "Application/Petition/Request Number." The second number is valid, and the first one is invalid.

You would have got one number on your NOA1 that doesn't work on uscis.gov, and a different number on your biometrics appointment letter that does work. I guess both numbers appear on the biometrics letter. Don't worry - everyone else is in the same boat, it's perfectly normal.
