Chicago Interview - no decision, no letter, nothing happening...

I had my interview 2 months ago. I passed the civil test and I was told that I will receive a letter with list of additional paperwork I need to send them and after that I will have my oath ceremony.

Never got anything from them. I called and still nothing happening. ....

Online status : Request for Evidence

On August 26, ( day of my interview ) we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested.

Anyone has similar experience? ??? Don't know what to do. ...

It sounds like they sent you a letter requesting additional evidence but you never received it. I would suggest making an InfoPass appointment and visiting your local field office. They may consider your case abandoned because they were expecting to receive additional evidence back from you and they never received it.

the best thing to do is to make an info pass. It seems they issued an rfe and you didn't receive it

I'm in same boat , it's now three months after interview , no decision , status updates same day request for evidence , I contact them and they said they need nothin from me , but case pending

I found form my observation calling their call center is useless. I suggest you too to try to book an info pass and see what's holding your case.

I found out my case is approve and just need verification , did some one know what this mean

It means that another person needs to double check - verify - that everything is in order with your case. The same think happened to me. They are just covering their bases that all requirements are met and waiting to put you in line for oath ceremony or schedule your oath date. If the time frame has passed for them to have gotten back to you, call and have them escalate it. But first of all check your state and see how long it was for others to get scheduled. Congrats!

Have you called them? After a period has passed if they do not get the evidence - even if you did not get the request - they can deny your application for insufficient evidence. Please call and find out what is happening.

Same here. 2 months already. No update. But I made an infopass myself for this 11-24-2014. Hopefully there is something new for me.

I talked to lawyers and everyone said the same thing!!!! WAIT!!! and until they response then they can help me accordingly to my needs!
