I filed an immigrant visa for my husband and we received an interview date.My question is NVC is asking to bring along the Affidavit of support again at interview date saying that i have not filed the Tax Returns.As i do not work then what should i do to give them a proof.Although my uncle submitted an Affidavit of support for my husband and NVC has accepted it.What additional evidence should i give along with Affidavit of support to prove that i don't work.

You Don,t Need To Poof Them , Just Tell Them Im Husband/Wife jobless ,, Must Bring Affidavit of support Co Sponsor During In Interview Almost 1st Question Mostly They Ask For Affidavit Support ,

And Don,t Worry About Anything InshaAllah You Will Get Visa ,,,

The I-864 instructions state: "If you were not required to file a Federal income tax return under U.S. tax law because your income was to low, attach a written explanation." I have read around these forums that a letter suffices for this. Explain and attach to the I-864.

Someone else will be able to tell you if you must bring a second copy of your uncle's accepted I-864.
