I'm relieved that I grew up in the People's Republic of New England, where I was dandled on the knees of gay people, Unitarians, Muslims, folk singers and pinkos from my earliest days, even if it did mean I had to eat a lot of carob and I never got to eat a Twinkie until I was 16.

I have an idea. You can just pick one other human and claim that person as your "spouse" for tax, insurance, immigration, and legal reasons. You can change this once a year (maybe more) during an "election" period. Do away with marriage altogether. Problem solved.

If gays were more prevalent, or more the "norm" in our society, it sure would make it hard to populate the earth.

There's already too many people on this planet. We don't need more.

Very much true. I just don't believe in being an A-hole towards people because of my religious preference. It gets you nowhere quick.
