London Consulate - Notification of Readiness to appointment

Hi.

My fiance just submitted his Notification of Readiness to the London consulate. Recent interviewees, how long did it take for you to get your interview after you submitted the form? It says up to six weeks, but the timelines seem to be going quicker than that.

Thanks.

Heather.

Yeah it could take up to six weeks and the six weeks counts from when they receive your medical report. About 4weeks after my medical exam I completed a contact form here: http://london.usembassy.gov/dhs/uscis/uscis-contact-form.html to find out what's going on, I got and email few days later that I've been assigned a date (which was stated) and will receive the letter soon. I don't know if my contact form had help atall but it's a good way to go if you find yourself waiting too long.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

Try not to worry about this, it will take a few weeks. I had my medical on the 3rd of October, and had submitted my DS-160 and application of readiness 4 days before; however, to date I haven't received an interview date.

Also, as useful as CEAC is to check when your case is updated, it really causes quite a lot of trouble. I haven't had my case touched/updated since the 8th. But some people have panicked/gotten frustrated about the whole thing and sent emails, resent DS-160's etc. and really got no further forward.

Just hold on and be patient, as difficult as that may be.

All the best,

Tom.

we have our medical done in early Sep, and submitted the readiness form on 9/20, as of today, still no letter for interview :(

It's appropriate to check on it since it's been that long unless you put a planned date of marriage that is still months off. Use the contact form http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html

Tell them your readiness form was submitted 32 days ago. Give the dates of your medical and DS-160 submission. Say something like...please confirm that you are awaiting nothing further from me.

I acutally have sent them a contact form on 10/2 to check if everything is ok and surprisingly, they response to me on the next day, it said they have everything and we will hear from them within 6 weeks. (When I submit the DS-160, I put 10/26 as the planned date of marriage)

I have been waiting but I see a lot of members submitted the readiness form in Oct got their interview letter already, I got worried so I reply to that email they sent me on 10/3 last friday (10/17), haven't heard from them as of now.

the last update on CEAC is 10/3, seems like it was the day they checked my status and reponsed to my email and since then, it has never been touched.

I'm just gonna go and go with everyone else, 6 weeks. BUT like my case. I did the ds-160 and application of readiness when it just received by the embassy, My medical was on the 29th of September. I contacted the embassy and it took them exactly 2 weeks to reply to my e-mail, Saying they haven't got my ds-160 or application of readiness but they do have my medical results, I was told to submit them again, I put a planned date of entry for November 20th (Cause that's the day I'm planning on leaving)

The CEAC updates/touches

02/10

03/10

07/10

15/10

20/10

21/10

Yes that is a lot. lol!

Good luck and let us know :)

I had my medical on the 23/09 but had submitted my application of readiness at the start of September. I received the interview letter on the 06/10 and had the interview on the 21/10, which was approved! :)
