case and ID number how long?

hi guys,I got my approval for my I130 and receive my approval letter 8 days,so how long does it take to get case and ID number? thanks

It can take the NVC up to a month to receive the case from USCIS. You can call the NVC to see if they have assigned a case number, maybe in 2 weeks after approval.

It usually takes NVC a Month to get a case then another one to assign a Case# and Invoice#. I know that whe you are in a process like this, it can be a pain waiting. Time does fly tho.

Congratulations. You should be calling NVC and getting your documents in order here's the NVC process wiki. Also you should be on the NVC filers thread getting the most up to date information.

we were also approved on 22nd sept and NVC has recieved the case ON OCTOBER 9TH .Last week they said 30 days and this week they say 42 days for getting a case number

my notice date was sept 30. recieved in the mail a week later and i just got mine this morning on the phone! read the wiki. 1-603-334-0700 have info from nao2 available when calling plus email adressess to give operator.
