Hi. VisaJourney.

I have an Annotation on my Tourist Visa which states: NPTE Test taker, Guam, OCT.2014.

I was granted a 6 month tourist visa from August 2014 - February 2015.

My question is- will I be allowed to enter Guam if I go there to take the NPTE Test on January 2015? I decided to cancel my NPTE this October 2014 since I still have a lot to read for the exam.

I hope you can help me with this . Thank you so much for reading it.

Sure, why not? Just bring your appointment when you arrive at US custom and border

Thank you for the quick response Nancy. Sure am glad I got an answer on my query. But, I just want more clarification: Won't I encounter a problem at the border, since the Annotation clearly stated the NPTE OCT.2014? What was the purpose of the Annotation? I am really worried. I thought it would just be fine to go to Guam this January2015 for the Exam, but when I checked yesterday, there was an Annotation specifically stating OCT. 2014. Won't the Immigration Officer deport me to my country of origin since I was supposed to be there in Guam for October 2014 as the Annotation stated?

Please enlighten me on this. I read somewhere in the internet that Annotations pose a problem, one has to follow what was written on it.

But, I was also thinking, that my Visa will expire on February 2015, then I could still travel to Guam, but , I am worried of the Annotation. Although, I am going to take the NPTE Exam this January 2015, and I already have my Authorization to Take the Test for January 2015.

Would really appreciate answers on my questions.

Email the embassy and explain that your test has been rescheduled but is still within the validity of your visa. They should email back. IF they say you are fine take that email and the evidence that your test was rescheduled when you go. Otherwise follow the instructions in the email.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
