Hello Everyone. Im back! okey, Im already in fifth week of the 8 week culture test. I just want to ask what happened after one gets the results of the culture? St Lukes reschedule the interview right? How soon is it, is it the next week or do they also follow the calendar we see when we schedule online? I really hope it turns out negative tool. And also supporting paperwork like NBI,CENOMAR and DS-160 will any of that expire and need to be redone? All of this taken last May 2014. I have read here on VJ i need to get 3months latest.

All replies are appreciated, thanks in advance!

From my uncle's experience, he underwent sputum test as well, and was negative so he continued the remaining process of the medical... That was just last week. And then he was advised by st luke's to call them back after a couple of days for the date of his interview at the embassy, st luke's was the one who gave him the schedule date of his interview.

SLEC will let you know if they will reschedule the interview or if they want you doing it. It is a mix lately. SLEC doesn't get any "special" interview dates so no benefit, the next opening is what you will receiving whether it a week or a month away.

No time issue with the DS-160 you already completed. No time issue with the NSO BC.

The NBI and CENOMAR you do not want them to be older than 6 months. USEM most times will require new ones when older.

Oops by the way according this page visaconnection.com YOU CAN ONLY RESCHEDULE TWICE WITHOUT PENALTY!!!!

You will get a warning if you go to cancel your second appointment that you will have to pay a new visa fee. Plus there will be a 90 waiting period before being allowed to schedule a 3rd interview.

I have a problem about this..I got my first interview online last Aug 27 but i cancelled it bc ive seen early dates on. it was like 5slots early than 27th. but when i click it somebody had grab it. Im so stupid. But i got lucky to get the Aug28 in 5sec on that day. My question is this. I cancelled again my interview date bc i got sputum. When it turns out negative SLEC will reschedule my interview or maybe by myself. So it counted 3rd attempting interview, right? Should i worry about this? or repay my medical fee?

You have only rescheduled once, this next one will be your 2nd time, so you should be OK.

Hello, its my first here.. :) I finished my 2 months sputum culture last september 17 and went back to St. Luke's September 18 for the results and immunizations.. They rescheduled my interview since i had to cancel it due to 2 months sputum culture.. They say that the earliest date was Sept. 23. I told the lady there that I still need some documents from my fiance.. If its possible that i get an october interview. She said october 2 is the earliest and I asked her if October 6 is still open..She said yes.. So i get that schedule.. I am not familiar with schedulling online since my fiance was the one who did that for me. So i think its more convenient if St. Luke's will be one who will reschedule your interview. As for DS-160 i didnt update mine.. No problem at all. I passed my interview and just waiting for my visa to arrive. Good luck!!! :)
