Letter of intent

So here's the deal...I took the I-129f with me when I visited my fiance in November. We finally got it filled out the day before I left, I had read the instructiond a million times but I guess I totally missed the part about a letter of intent from him. I brought it back with me ready to mail and then realized after reading the instructions again that I needed a letter from both of us signed or one letter with both signatures. I decided to take the chance and mail it with just my letter of intent and evidence.

My question- Do they really require a letter from him? Is there a possiblity they will over look it? I know it's a long shot, I'm going nuts thinking about it.

You might get lucky and they wont notice but have him send you the letter of intent right away so in case u get an RFE, you can just send it in immediately. good luck!

there was no letter of intent to our application and it made me all worried the whole time of waiting,we just got lucky they approved our petition

tell your fiance to send you one just incase they asked for it...Goodluck

Its best to go ahead and have your fiance sign one and send it to you, so you'll have it ready to go if you get an RFE. Good luck though, I hope they skip it and fork over that approval for you

My fiance and I did not include the letter of intent for either of us. We got the approval last week, no rfe. I thought we would for sure get an rfe. Well, we'll type a couple up for the interview, something tells me they'll want them there. Good luck, I would not worry about it so much.

Sorry Elizabeth...I bet you are going crazy thinking about it...PRAY!!! I hope that they overlook it like they did the others. I wish you the best amiga...let me know how everything goes. We just got our interview date today. May 13...It is later than we had hoped for but I'm glad to know something solid. tqm, alicia
