Id and Current residence address different

Hello everyone,

i have a question for you all,

My driver license-ID address is from where i was living before (still where my sister lives), do you think they will give me problem if my current address on the applications and driver license different from each other? should i get a new driver license?

No, USCIS doesn't care whether or not you updated your ID. There are many senior citizens who move and don't bother updating their IDs because they don't drive any more.

What matters is:

-You lived in the same state for 90 days before you applied.

-You updated your address with USCIS using the AR-11 form within 10 days of moving. All permanent residents have to do this, so if you didn't, do it now.

-You have something that shoes your current address. Since your ID had the wrong address on it, it's a good idea to take bills, leases, mortgage documents that show your current address with you to the interview.

That being said, the best thing to do is go update your ID as soon as possible.
