Hi, last month we received a checklist from NVC and we had to send the AOS and docs. On September 25th they received the package and told us that we have to wait more 60 days!!! I'm worried about it, 'cause now in October 29th the case will complete one year and they can't pass this time! I'd like to know if they say "60 days" just for say and it can take less days. Please, someone make me happy just for a while!!

Thank you for any information.

They say 60 days routinely so if you call, they will tell you that it has not been 60 days. People are constantly calling them and they really don't want to be constantly bothered for packages that are considered within normal filing times. Usually they are faster than that. Don't worry. They will have it for you soon.

If you don't hear something at the end of 60 days, that means that they misplaced your package. It happens. It happened to me. The problem is they won't bother to look into it unless 60 days have passed.

We received a checklist also, for civil documents, and was sent last month but nvc said that it was received 03oct2014 and have to wait at least 60days from the day it was received. I just hope that they will review checklist less than 60days. This 60days review is really frustrating. :(

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
