Your goal is to get a K1 visa in your passport to enter the US.

Pretty much two things are done for this:

1. You submit a petition in the US (I-129F)

2. You file for a K1 visa (DS-160)

Of course this is just in general. So the DS-160 is your application that you fill out to get the K1 visa. You will be doing this when your paperwork gets to the embassy. So NOA2 -> NVC -> Embassy(here is when you fill the DS-160)

The beneficiary fills out DS-160 and has to print out the confirmation page and bring it to the embassy when he goes for the interview.

Nothing to be sorry about. We are all here to learn.

Your fiance in Europe has to fill out the DS-160 with his info on the Embassy (consulate) website because the K1 is for him.

You can fill out the whole DS-160 and than save it and give your fiance the password and he can log in and electronically sign it. A lot of people do this because their fiance's can not speak English and the DS-160 has to be filled out in English.

It is not a complicated application. Here is a link to an example DS-160 application. Your fiance will need a passport photo, digital copy because you will need to upload one on the DS-160 form.

Thank you! I hope the same for you!

He could do it many ways. I think what you said would work the best. Have him stand in front of a white wall and have someone take a picture of him with a cell phone or a camera and than email it to you. Easy. Just make sure it looks similar to a passport photo.

My fiance went to a studio where they took a passport photo of her, they gave her a digital copy and she emailed it to me so i printed it out for the G-325A form and i am going to use the same one for the DS-160. Your fiance will need passport photos for the interview too.
