Me and my Fiance want to begin filing for a K-1 visa so I can enter the United States to marry him and live permanently. Can someone please give me the requirements for this to happen?

I have been told in the past that he must earn 19,660 a year on his salary for us to go ahead with this visa. Can anyone tell me if that's true?

income requirements are listed on the I-864P (you can google that) and for two people the number is $19,662
