Thanks but he got his green card through the diversity visa lottery so he is eligible to file for an I130. And I plan to enjoy every day of my wait....

That is good, so many don't know that bit and end up with a suprise they aren't prepared for.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Welcome to the forum.

Love lating, Si vis amari, ama "If you wish to be loved, love" what beautiful words. :)(L)

God bless you Soleenta, even if we could not do anything , it's enough to find support & kindness from people that you did not know before :)

Oh sweet heart my heart breaks for you I wish I could go to Egypt and bring you to the USA, I'm hoping someone on our thread can help so I'll copy and past your post here at the other thread we change it every month so the new link is God willing we can help in some way. God bless you and keep you safe.

It will be difficult to go to Ecuador & stay there, how can I find a job , my savings will will run out shortly after & I do not know anyone there

It's to bad it's one of the few countries you don't need a Visa at least for the first 90 days was wondering if your husband can send you money if you go to one of the smaller Andean countries like Cuenca which is beautiful you could rent a big place for about $200 a month and food is very cheap. I know a family there that would I'm sure love to help you out they are from the USA and as long as you can speak English you would be safe there. Just until you get your visa for the USA and be close enough that your husband can visit you it's not far and flights are basiclly cheap. Let me know ok and I can contact these people mean while I'll post you post here at our thread.

(L) (L) God bless and keep you safe.

If your husband got his green card through marriage to a USC he isn't even eligible to file an I130 under the who may not use this form in the instructions.

he was a religious asylee so he did not get it through marriage

Hi, So sorry to hear about your case especially the danger you are likely to face from your home country. I also got married to a LPR in July 2014 and we have applied. I have a priority date of August 2014. California processing office also says it is going to take 5 months. I and my husband were confused when we read this because we knew that the priority date for F2A (our category) is February 2013 now. But I think that 5 months meant the time it would take for them to process our application and send it to the National Visa Center (NVC). At the National Visa Center, we wait till out priority date becomes available and then I can qualify to apply for a visa. By the way I am Nigerian and my husband just got his green card 2 years ago. I am also eager to check the November visa bulletin or know how long it would take before it gets to my turn.

God be with us and increase our patience. Nice meeting you on this platform.

Hi there, thank you for you prayers n wishes I am praying for a miracle myself , I I wish they could speed up the process for all of us , God be with you & help you :)

Thanks Marcus, I hope you are having a Great Monday. Hi Everyone, Wishing us all a splendid week ahead. Try not to think too much and pray more while we await the release of November visa bulletin on Friday...(whoa..I have butterflies in my stomach at the thought of it).

Have a Great Day People

I talked with my husband , he did not like the idea of me living in a strange country with people he does not know, he is so protective of me, even when I am here , he keeps checking on me :) via wats app & other android apps .

I think we will check that option as last resort. I sent the email to NVC as you said but they replied & they said I should contact USCIS not NVC :D .

Anyway we are still checking if we can reach anyone there who can help with that, no use till now.

I wish you have your visa processed ASAP , I will pray 4 u :) , thank you Soloenta , let me know if you have any update on ur case :)

Thank you so much for your good wishes Chantil, I'm praying hard for you.

I understand your husband completely mine is the same way but I would never put you in any danger (even if you don't know me) The people I contacted are Christian a older couple, they told me they think they might be able to find a rental for $125 a month in Cuenca have your husband check these people out they are on the videos

Frank is the guy you see his wife Angie is video taping.

and

I'm not trying to sell you this, just trying to give you options just in case you need them. I wouldn't want to live in a strange country either but at least in mine if you scream you would have a thousand people there to help you. My country is a not like most countries the people are very friendly and helpful. As I said just an option since you wouldnt need a visa.

I think you need to file the same as your husband did for Asylum since he has done this ask him to do this for you, how long did it take him to get the visa?

Hi! Just introducing myself. I live in California and have started a group for people who are new to the US.

If you live, or will live, near or in L.A. send me a private message so I can give you details.

Good luck with your VJ journey!
