I've been waiting an approval / touch from CSC forever(over 3 month now). i am thinking to apply again through VSC. I work on an contact job and move from one place to another. I lived in NY for 6 years and still holding a NY Driver's Lisence. I can use my parents' address to receive mails. i am just getting crazier every day as i wait for the approval

it sounds like a crazy idea, but I just want to check if anybody has done that before.

Thank you

I think you're saying you haven't received your NOA2 yet, right? You've received your NOA1 and they cashed the check long ago, I hope.

Don't file another petition. They aren't separated entities - the CSC and VSC - that don't talk. You'll just muck things up and have to explain the second filing. Sit tight - it sounds like people around the 3 month mark are having a good week so far. Give it more time. And you aren't late yet according to the official Service Center processing guide the government posts.

I tried call them twice. they said:" CSC is processing petitions recieved at July, and you have to wait" also told me to call back after 6 month if I still don't hear anything. Not helpful at all.

never been that impatient for anything, I felt like drove up there to their office and YELL at them to cut the coffee breaks and rush on our papers. oh well, I know it's not the right thing to do.

thanks for the response, I guess that option is out too. i have a feeling if they allow me to apply to VSC and I should hear back from VSC quicker than CSC. well well well .... HUGE mistake at the very begining.

They WON'T allow you to just start over at VSC. And even if they did - you'd probably get a resolution in the same amount of time as if you'd left it alone in Cali. Seriously, man, look at the boards, there's been a HUGE number of late Oct/early Nov filers who got their NOA2s this week. Wait. Just be patient.

The first time someone told me that here, I was offended. Then I realized - they're right. And I think all of us in the community are partly here to talk everyone else off the ledge when they need it.

You haven't suffered an undue delay yet at all. Save the frustration for later when and if you do get dealt a raw deal.

Did you get the message from the automatic service or did you speak to a live operator...I spoke to a live operator and had them pull my case up...It doesn't give you the option on the phone you have to hit the option that says you never received anything from them and it's been over sixty days or something...

That's what I did and once the live operator came over the phone they pulled my file and told me that it was still being processed...but I swear by that me calling and pulling my file made them look into it...because the very next morning...it was approved via email...for NOA2...

Good Luck!!!

It sounds like you talked to the same people I did a couple of years ago. Most of the time the people answering their 800 number just look at the computer records and give you the pat answer. But, you are just about on schedule. The K-1's out of CSC have been averaging 3 months to process which has been pretty consistent for over a year, except for the people that got caught up in the new IMBRA changes.

Just be patient. If you haven't signed up for email notification, do so now. You can check that for touches daily. Usually when you start seeing a number of touches it means someone is finally working on your file. It's easy to sign up and allows you better access to your account.

You should go to the USCIS web site and take a look at their statistics. The number of applications of all sorts is huge. Also, remember this, CSC is now processing K-1's for the Nebraska and Texas service centers. Essentially, CSC is handling 3/4 of the country's K-1 applications. So, being a little slow is understandable.

One more thing, the USCIS always reports the oldest application that they have to be processed as the date they are working on. Just be glad your not that July guy.

Thanks 1HAPPYGUY.. I am sure we've talked with the same people, oh well, I can't really blame them.... actually feeling really bad about THAT JULY GUYS, I just hope I won't be called "THAT OCTOBER GUY". Later.... talked with fiance today and she is actually more positive about the situation, or maybe she just want to calm me down....... anyways, thanks everyone for the input, I will not send another application...

bin&jie,

I did that before. I had just recently moved from VSC jurisdiction to NSC jurisdiction and all of my documentation still had my old address and I still owned the old house where my son had taken up residence. So a few weeks after submitting an I-129f to the NSC I got the bright idea to submit another to the VSC.

After receiving a Receipt Notice from the VSC nothing happened for an inordinately long period of time considering how quick the VSC was. I contacted my old NJ Representative's office, which contacted the VSC and found out that the VSC was sitting on my I-129f there pending the outcome of the previous I-129f that I had submitted to the NSC.

Yodrak

I've been waiting an approval / touch from CSC forever(over 3 month now). i am thinking to apply again through VSC. I work on an contact job and move from one place to another. I lived in NY for 6 years and still holding a NY Driver's Lisence. I can use my parents' address to receive mails. i am just getting crazier every day as i wait for the approval

it sounds like a crazy idea, but I just want to check if anybody has done that before.

Thank you
