yeah, I think we all get stressed out and overwhelmed with this process. That's why there's so many of us here that never left, even after we're done!

I am going through the exact same stress and emotions... getting the stuff together for the I-129F... saving money and looking for a ticket to see my sweetie that costs under $2K... having to work tons of comp time so I can take off more time this summer... dealing with future ILs racist anachronistic bullsh!t... thinking about hunting for an apartment when I come back from Nepal, as you know in NYC is nerve-racking... having to take out a loan on my retirement savings just to afford everything... hoping K will like it here and not want to hop on the next plane back home... Sometimes I wish he and I could just live in Kat but there are no jobs there for either one of us... *sigh* :help:

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

yeah I hear u ....thanks for ur input, even though there are zillions of people on VJ sometimes I feel really alone(corny!LOL) Its hard cause my folks for the most part is very selfish out for themselves kind of people (my brother is slowly improving thank goodness!) they didnt even congratulate me.....they think it was some kinda "joke?" now that I am serious they want to all be in the mix, but basically I am like F***K off(sorry, parental guidance here! LOL) to them now, but you know its a kick in the teeth, getting no support from them when i need it most, my fiancee family very supportive, though. Yeah i am convinced my mom is a racist and mentally ill-maybe bi-polar or narcissistic but I just ignore her......yeah with in laws maybe just smile and in one ear out the other, you dont want trouble with in laws, I have been reading ur posts, if mother in law is mentally ill just steer clear of her, just do the formalities and dont take it personal what she does or says, , she is one with problem not you. I don't know if in Nepal like other Asian cultures , have a lot of respect for elders, relatives, ancestor worships, I basically told my fiancee some instances in which my mother was treating me like a dog and basically he said just deal with it, continue being nice to her no matter what.....i am trying even though it isVERY hard for me. Hey private message me I am in Long island, always wanted to go to Himalayas....will always welcome travel info, etc! Hope we can be friends!
