Political correctness trumps common sense for these ostriches.

Guess What’s Not Mentioned in FBI’s National Domestic Threat Assessment

The FBI apparently didn’t deem it necessary to mention radical Islam as a current domestic threat in its latest national threat assessment.

However, the unclassified report labels anti-government militia groups, white supremacy extremists, black separatists, pro-abortion activists and other groups as potential domestic threats.

The FBI’s 2013 National Threat Assessment for Domestic Extremism, first flagged by the Washington Free Beacon, is already facing criticism following its August 13, 2014, release. Critics are pointing to the Boston Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting as recent examples of acts of domestic terrorism carried out by radical Islamists.

Just this week, it was reported that Maj. Nidal Hasan, found guilty in the Fort Hood shooting, wrote a chilling letter to an Islamic State leader, asking to be made an official “citizen” of the Islamic caliphate.

On black separatists, the report warned that “high-profile racially charged crimes or events” could lead to an expansion of black separatist groups. The report identified three such groups as the New Black Panther Party, the Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ, and the Black Hebrew Israelite group as extremists under FBI scrutiny.

Though an FBI spokesman declined to comment on the report, it is possible that radical Islam may be lumped into the so-called “other” category of domestic terror threats.

“The ‘Other’ category includes domestic extremist [sic] whose actions were motivated by beliefs which fall outside the eight designated [domestic terrorism] subprograms,” a footnote found in the threat assessment supposedly reads.

how does it supposedly read? either it says that or it doesn't..

Well if "real journalists" were on this instead of bloggers, we'd be able to pull up a pdf of the unclassified "National Threat Assessment for Domestic Extremism" report and read it for ourselves. Apparently it's not worthy of their attention though. Plus it doesn't fit the narrative.

It certainly fits with the decision of the preznit's administration to designate the Ft. Hood shooting "workplace violence" instead of terrorism, despite the fact the shooter was hollering "allahu akbar" while emptying his weapon into coworkers. This decision by the administration deprived survivors benefits that would have helped pay for things like physical therapy. But being PC is far more important. <_<

so basically, you feel there's a real threat of specifically islamic terrorism in the united states and you feel this threat is being intentionally hidden? it seems to me that there is a group of people that would love to have a modern day witch hunt - open season on all muslims.

I especially like this part of the article from the Beacon:

Guandolo said the failure to recognize the domestic Islamist threat had allowed domestic jihadist groups and their sympathizers to shape U.S. government create policies that do not acknowledge jihad as the root cause for the current global chaos.

An example, he said, is that the FBI has appointed a domestic Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas support organization leader to an FBI advisory council at the Washington headquarters.

Because if you can't trust jihadists intent on destroying your country, who can you trust? <_<

iraq did that. oh no wait, it was bin laden and what was the name of that group?

You said "islamic terrorism". Having an Alzeheimer day?
