USCIS Filing Location

Hi,

My Fiance lives in California, so when he writes the Fiance Letter of Intent, to which address to we send it to?

On the actual USCIS website, it shows that the address below is where I can send it to, but it's in Texas, is there a location of California?

Everyone sends it to this address.

They will forward it to a service center.

As stated by Adam&Laura, all I-129f applications are mailed to the Dallas TX lockbox facility, and this NOT the same as the Texas Service Center.

Just follow the official instructions literally.

I sent to the lock box in Texas (as instructed) and for my letters of intent, I put that address as well because it was all I had.

When it is received at the lock box, USCIS will send it to the appropriate service center (For you, California). It won't matter that the address on the letter is addressed to the lock box in Texas.

I know, confusing, but people above are correct - follow the USCIS instructions is always the best thing to do!

The Dallas address you mentioned is the Lockbox. From there the applications are forwarded to the respective service centers, California in your case.

Your Letter of Intent would be addressed to:

California Service Center

US Citizenship & Immigration Services

Department of Homeland Security
