So we sent the papers to dallas lockbox last friday and they arrived tuesday of the next week and 4 days later boom ! text message and case number yay. Now just waiting on the hardcopy reciept and instructions for next step. We are super happy we recieved ours fast. Hopefully we do not recieve a RFE we had many pictures and proof and over a year and a half of conversations. I did use a affridavit for my visa was very simple only 2 pages for along with that persons pay stubs and tax papers.

I know there is a form to submit online on the government website but i am just waiting for the papers to arrive with the specific instructions instead of jumping the gun we are really so happy and i jumped like a little kid when i saw the text message, stil in the begining stages but now we have a case number muahahahah muahahaha .

Hello

Congrats on the first step of your Journey. As A&B noted above check the guides he indicated. The NOA1 is just your notification of receipt of the paperwork. It is not your approval. From your timeline it looks like you may see an answer in Feb of 2015. Keep the faith and read the guides. You have a long process ahead of you. This is a great resource.
