Because I don't believe in late term abortion for reasons of birth control, it obviously follows that I believe that society should be in the business of holding women hostage to their own biology.

These last few post have been what some would call a good old fashion case of ribbing for bringing slavery into it. Well, agreements to terminate or not are probably contrary to public policy for some very basic constitutional reasons that were visited in Roe. So yes, it doesn't matter.

It's not ridiculous. I think women have the right to choose to have an abortion. But late term, you're better off having the child unless there's a serious health problem.

I saw him speak once at a TAM conference years ago before the whole elevator-gate with Rebecca Watson.. Caused some big rifts in the Atheist "community" for a while.

He did a long interview with Penn (from Penn and Teller) a few weeks back . Google "Sunday school" for the podcast and go back a couple of weeks. Interesting man.
