I think too much is being made of what we call criminals. Does it really matter if we call black criminals "thugs" or white criminals "white trash" or "trailer trash"? They're criminals, in my eyes they don't deserve to be called anything respectful, no matter what color they are.

I think too much is being made of what we call criminals. Does it really matter if we call black criminals "thugs" or white criminals "white trash" or "trailer trash"? They're criminals, in my eyes they don't deserve to be called anything respectful, no matter what color they are.

The issue is it seems that white criminals aren't degraded when they commit crimes in the media. Black youths are called thugs immediately for anything. White youths aren't called anything. They have mental issues. Black youths are used as shooting targets, even if they've never killed anyone. White youths are respected, even if they have a huge body count.

I think it depends on what faction of the media you are focusing on. I don't recall seeing black kids referred to as "thugs" on mainstream media channels such as CNN or MSNBC, but I have seen that mentality on Fox and other right wing leaning media outlets. On that same note, I have seen some things said on black media sites, such as the root, in reference to white people that aren't all that flattering as well.

I use to tell my Union rep, when I was manager in that company. He asked why the company fought every grievance. I told him, because they file a grievance on so many stupid little inane things, that when they get around to the real stuff, the company has a deaf ear. Racism is going to be the same way soon

I can quote you personally that TM is your go to guy for a killer. But he never killed a single person. The last reference you used was the black guy who beat a man to death with his bare hands.
