December 3, 2013: NOA1 received

December 5, 2013: Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

NOA2: ???????????? still waiting over 9 months now.....

I emailed USCIS (CSC) this is their reply on August 19 2014

Thank you for your inquiry. The processing time for your case is delayed because required background checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these background checks, we cannot move forward on your case. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision on your case as soon as the background checks are complete.

I think it's time for you to call your congressman and senators, you are way over the process times.

But if they are doing background checks you simply have to wait until they are completed, but 9 months is a bit long. So I will call my senator's and congressman to get the ball rolling!!!

Good luck on the rest of your journey!!!

From the reply you posted. It is hard for anyone to say. It will all depend on how long those background checks will take. No one can say why it is taking so long but till they get the results they cant make a decision. You will have to wait for those checks to complete Heres hoping for a quick resolution.

I've been waiting on my Noa2. I filed in December 2013... I keep getting the same answers from the call centers and via email..Also my senator got involve and called CSC, their response were the same of what they told me back around check !!!! Should I call them once a week to bug them about my case?

Last email from them was sent August 19, 2014:
