My fiance and I have been waiting since March 3 for our NOA2 ....My seasonal employment is coming to an end . I want to be able to spend my 6 months down south with my fiancé as I do every winter. Is that possible while we wait or should I stay and wait in Canada .

A visit is a visit. You'll still have to return when it's time for your medical and interview, and then re-enter on the K-1 Visa before marriage. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to keep your usual winter trip. Just expect (perhaps hope) that it will be interrupted when you get past the NOA2 stage.

Just be aware CBP has knowledge of everything, so if you tell them you have a k1 pending and plan do be down south for 6 months.....red flag

Trust me I got denied and it's been a nightmare ever since then

If you have no issue that's great news, but just be aware they have the data base and will know on their screen and pending visa

Yes, you allowed visits to your 'other half'.

That said.. there's a few gotcha's.

When you pass the border, the officer WILL see that you have a K-1 pending. It's not approved yet, that too is visible.

So, first of all:

** BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR VISIT **

and so, when asked what the purpose of your visit is, say that you are visiting your fiance for a few months (as you have been doing for a few years now), and that you of course will return home when the time comes, OR (if that happens sooner) if your NOA2 came through, and you have to get back to Canada for medical, interview and all that.

Be very clear in that you understand that you HAVE to go back, that you CANNOT get married yet, etc.

To help the officer determine that you mean it, bring a letter from your employer stating you're expected back in 6 months (or whatever timeframe), a letter indicating you have an apartment or house, etc etc, all indications that, yes, you really have ties there, and will be going back after your visit.

This should be fine. Just be clear, be honest, and be ready to, when asked, show you still have ties there.

Good luck!

Here is a good guide for K-1 visitors

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1visit

Try to enter on your Enhanced Drivers Lisc or Nexus if you have one, there is generally less questions than on a passport for some reason.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
