Hiya KJ! hope all is going well, girl!

My job's going just fine, thanks! Patrick and Reinhardt settled their differences alright haha Patrick bought him out for a pretty penny. Reinhardt's last day on the ground was saturday and then he had to leave. I'll keep ya posted on that end. My daughter has no school tomorrow (just as well cuz she would have had a snow day anyway!) so I am playing "sick" and calling into work.

You got about 6 inches of snow so far? That's what we have...slowing down some but still falling! Glad you liked the video - I don't sound TOO much like a Canuck, eh? :innocent:

Yeah, I saw that one of them had bought the other out and to quote the Post, he now "owns the town". Must be nice  They did not mention how much is cost Patrick but I shudder to think!

Wow, six inches? No, we maybe got 1/2 inch to 1 inch here but since they didn't treat or plow the roads at all, it has all frozen over and Derek and I have been watching cars slide into one another at the intersection outside our apartment building. Since he has to be at work before the sun comes up tomorrow I am trying to convince him to metro to the Canadian Embassy instead of drive. But being Canadian he thinks it won't be a problem. I keep telling him, it's not your driving ability but they don't treat the roads here and you don't have snow tires. I think I am going to have to let him learn on his own.

Derek is from Montreal too, so your accent sounds pretty familiar

Keep me posted on the Inn and good luck!

Oh Sharon, how pretty! I like that type of snowfall, light, fluffy and coating everything - I was able to experience it again December 26 visiting my brother's place in Ottawa over Christmas. I really like your country home and farm - and the view is wonderful. I notice your bottle-raised calf decided to stay in the barn - smart animal, hehehe!

Thank you for sharing:-). I much prefer snow this way - via video - than in person:-).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
