I'm really confused right now guys, which one should be done first? CFO or Interview? I have read some people who did Interview before CFO and some people that did CFO before the interview.. I also read at Hank's NOA2 guidelines that CFO requires visa passport page? I'm so confuseddd. Someone enlighten me pls. Thank you in advance!

You can go either way: before or after embassy interview.

If you have the CFO seminar before the interview, you will only receive the certificate and you have to return for the CFO sticker after receiving the visa, or you can also opt to get the sticker at the airport (details in Hank's site).

But if you go after you receive the visa, you will get both the certificate and sticker on the same day.

I did my interview then the next day I went to CFO, you can attend your CFO without your passport, but when you get your passport back from the embassy, you have to go back there for the sticker .

For your convenience it is better to go there after you receive your visa/passport from embassy , so you won't comeback twice.

Doesn't matter. Now that CFO has their online appointment system it is easier to get it completed, so it is just a matter of do you what to go there once or twice.

My fiancée did the CFO first like Hank said the online registration was easy. The CFO was very professional and smooth my fiancée said. Now once she gets approved for her visa she will only need to get the sticker for her passport no need to attend the seminar again. She was given the certificate after the seminar was completed.

Good luck on the rest of your journey!!!

Candy did her CFO one day after the interview and collected her sticker when she got her actual visa. It works either way; whatever is more convenient to you is what should control your decision.

Martha did her CFO before the interview and then returned with visa in hand. Sticker attached and next day on the bird to the US of Ahhh. It's your choice, either way is fine.

I have not read of any issues with scheduling the interview in weeks.

Have your MNL # then pay the fee at BPI, wait a day then get your interview scheduled online.

My fiancé who's from Mindanao first did her medical then flew to Cebu and did her CFO like others said after the Visa is issued she can pick up her exit stamp for the program. The last thing she did was the EM interview. We decided to opt out for the picking up the CFO stamp at the airport because she's not missing the plane because of some SNAFU at the airport...

Last month it was nearly impossible to get a K-1 interview. Every day for the last 2 weeks it seems like there is always a interview date waiting on my dashboard when I check our status. You shouldn't worry about getting a date, as long as there's not another 'glitch' in the system :o

Oh is that so? Well, I don't have my MNL# yet so I still can't schedule my interview.. One question though, Is it okay if I just wait for the the NVC to just send me the letter that contains our MNL# instead of calling? (we just got our NOA2 last friday) we're not in a rush anyway.. I will go home to PI this november and I wanted to be there on his interview..

Being you are in no rush, absolutely no issue with waiting for the letter from NVC with the MNL #.

You just got your NOA2 so it could still be a few weeks before NVC receives the case file and it could be 2-4 weeks after that before they have the MNL #.

It might be best to just call NVC instead of waiting for the letter. I just realized that I never received a letter from NVC, but I didn't think about it because I had called and received the MNL#. Now I am wondering what was up with NVC.... Not much of concern now since Jesica has already entered the US on her K-1 :D
