The information is coming from real people that input their data into the VJ database. So, someone who filed on February 14th has been approved. There are many reason ranging from work load to complete lunacy that USCIS might end up processing a petition filed after yours first. That doesn't mean that the information here is useless.

If the information provided here isn't valuable then the best solution is to not use the information provided here.

I am the USC Petitioner. My wonderful wife Laura is from Scotland.

Camelott, if you are following the VJ, then you should know that many factors go into getting your NOA2. Many December and January filers are still waiting....sometimes USCIS just takes their sweet time(over 7 months in some cases) before they give approvals. Its hard to be without your loved ones I know, but all we can do is wait. VJ timeline is only an estimate, don't get too attached to it. I Only use this forum to read peoples happy stories when they get their approvals, because that gives me hope that process is moving. Just hang in there, who knows, your approval may be today.. :)

Yes. Having gone through that part of the process does make it easy to speak about my experience with it.

What does age have to do with waiting for your loved ones? No matter what age you are, every day seems to never end. I'm sure you would felt this way when you were young*. We just have to be patient and endure this rough time.

Dear,

if you are 30 waiting for 5 months is not a problem.

If you are 75 waiting for 5 months could be not enough and die before the approval!

Does it make sense for you?

Yes , I totally understand what you are saying and I respect that. Death is part of life and it can come to anyone at anytime, young or old. In our case, we just have to be strong and look forward to being with our loved ones. Hope is what keeps us alive, and I hope you get your approval very soon!

I have no idea what you are talking about. I did not give you any estimate for when your wife should be here. I just pointed out that timelines are estimates, which you don't seem to want to understand. Anyway, good luck on your Visajourney. EOM.
