Dear All,

I would like to ask about, if i received the approval for form I 130 (as shown below) on 21st March 2013, so what is the next step and how long should i wait for the coming step?

taking in consideration that i deal with Vermont center.

Please kindly help me .

On March 21, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

It means your case is now at the NVC. There it will wait til the priority date becomes current. When did you originally file the petition?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Since you are the married son of a USC (F3 visa) you have to wait for your priority date to become current, which right now it's taking about 10+ years. So whenever your petition was filed, it's taking that long before you can apply for a visa. Right now the F3 category is available for people that filed back in 2003. So it's good that your petition was approved, but unfortunately you wouldn't be able to apply for a visa any time soon. You can stay on top of the dates in the following link, but you are in for a long wait.
