Hello everyone :) ! Moroccan and people all around the world.
First of all, I wanna say that I'm so glad I found this great forum that it has some great people here taking some of their time
helping the new members. so thank you so much for your support.
This is my first post, after I was just reading members questions and topics similar to our case.
me and my fiancee found out that we are expecting a baby, ( which was a decision of course not a mistake ), we are so happy and so excited, but so worried in the same time that our case will take some time before the baby is born. We started to feel so worried and sad, and I already miss her so bad it's been two months but we feel like it was forever since we last saw each other. ughh and I wish so bad I'll be with her because she needs me, and will need me more, and it kills me that I can't take care of her and make her feel better.
we got the NOA1 in 2014-06-16 and we still waiting for a new mail from the USCIS. if anyone has any idea how long this will take, the baby will be born around January. we got an email in june the 17th that says, the Alien number was changed.
if there are any members around this date, or any one has any idea if the Texas Center is slow or not, I would love to read your comments. and thank you in advance. and good luck for everybody.

Welcome to the website! I hope you can find the help you need. Well, the k1 process is taking a lot compare to other years (6-10 months) unless you are part of the lucky ones who gets their approval in 3-4 months. But the truth is that it take a few months and there is no guaranteed that it will be on time. I know you said you planned but as a new mom myself (I had my baby 6 months ago), I just can't imagine going through my pregnancy while waiting on a k1 and without my husband, you should'd wait, BUT well the baby is already on it's way so keep your finger cross and hopes for the best.

There's no much you can do while you wait but you can keep working ahead like getting all the vaccines you need, gathering proof of your relationship so when the time comes, you don't have to wait any longer.

In case you wonder, a baby on it's way is not a reason to speed up things with the USCIS. Unfortunately they only take action under very special circumstances.

Hope everything goes fine and you can be together soon!

Blessngs

Welcome! Congratulationssss!! First of all, I want to mention that the current status of TSC is that they are Having delays, when you call USCIS they will tell you that they are still working on December filers. Which by looking at IGOR'S LIST , we can all guess that, that's not even true. They are currently processing January filers cases. Also, right now, Texas Service Center is speeding up, trying to catch up!! I personally believe that you won't be with your partner until Probably March of Next year! I filed on December 19th, and received NOA1 on the 31st. You have to count from the time of your NOA1 receival. Meaning that i was waiting for my NOA2 6 and more than a half months for it to be approved 1 week for it to reach 7 months. FYI, i wasn't the only one but so many November and December filers were waiting aswell and some are still waiting for their approvals. Either you get lucky!!! Or you ask for an EXPEDITE!!! But in order to do that, you would need to check the Expedite Criteria and in your case, being pregnant to them , doesn't fall into any of the expedite criterias. So either TSC catches up , you ask for an expedite or you simply get lucky, my guess is that next year will be the year where you will reunite with your loved one.. !!! Do not lose hope though. I am just sharing my experience and many other's experiences, and trying to give an educated guess. Good Luck On your Journey!!! BTW> Not only TSC is experiencing delays but also NVC and in addition to that, there's a global glitch with the issuance of U.S Visas. Hope they fix that soon!!!

Piece of advice, once you reach your 5 month mark, contact your State Senator, Congressman to place an inquiry on your behalf! They do help!! Also you can put Online Service Requests (E-requests) or call USCIS to inquire yourself. If you are before the 5 month mark, they will NOT caree!!!!

Thank you so much !! that was so helpful.

I'm just wondering why some case from jully and june got the NOA2 already. if they are still working in the files from junary, why it was quick for couples from June and July ? and how can we get lucky if we should wait for previous files ?

and thank you again. I hope so much we can get lucky and get through this in like 3 or 5 months.

ALlah ybarek fik !! InshaAllah Thank you so much and congrats for you too !! I hope everything will be just fine.

I'm the Finace, I live in Morocco and my pregnant Fiancee lives in the US now. we are thinking to bring her back here so she can get the care she needs because this is so hard, and the waiting stress makes it harder. I'm just worried about having the baby here after so many stories I heard about the bad services in the hospitals here. I hope we'll get the NOA2 so soon. thank you again :))

Salaam alaikum,

I would suggest your fiance if she would consider giving birth in Morocco look into either birthing at Sheikh Zaid Hospital. There are some Facebook groups she could join for English speaking women in Morocco as well.

I have personally seen in Rabat before I got pregnant- She delievers babies at Clinic Agdal in Agdal Rabat - She is highly qualified and highly recommended her English is passible and she is more comfortable in French or Darija.
