I just received notice that of my NOA2. I was reading that now my husband will be sent some documents in Cuba that he needs to bring with him to the interview. They are requesting copies of our marriage certificate, and birth certificates. I already sent all that information in our original i-130 packet. Do I need to have another copy of that to bring to the interview or will they have those documents already in our file?

Those items are part of the case file therefore should have been forwarded to the embassy. The case would not have been approved if the file were missing these docs.

If there is any doubt it would be a good idea to send them to him to hand carry to the interview.

Those were all a part of the initial file that I sent into with my i-130 file. I was just wanting to make sure they would be a part of the file. It is difficult for us to obtain another copy of our marriage certificate and his birth certificate because both documents are from Cuba and it is no easy process to get another copy. Thanks for the information! :)

The Embassy will tell you what to bring.

In general it is your Civil Documents, ie: Passport, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, and
proof of the Bone Fide nature of your relationship, original documents are required at the day of the interview

For how to prove a bone fide relationship see

The affidavit of support documents already submitted to NVC do NOT need to bring to the interview (unless the embassy specifically asks).

Good Luck

No they are issuing a generic list of items. if those items are in the file then the file is complete. If it wasn't there wouldn't be an interview date set. These people are married. That is enough to show the nature of the relationship. You are point out info about K 1 visas.
