I noticed today that AK 47s of Russian origin are now caught up in sanctions with Russia. I wonder if ammo (like brown bear / silver bear) will be affected next. I buy russian and ukrainian ammo so I wonder how supplies will work out.

Feel free to discuss any topic within this thread so long as it remains in context of the Forum as a whole.

I would avoid buying deep fryers for instance because it is linked to national obesity.

There inability to work with authorities only incriminates them and Putin further. I've read that the Netherlands is probably going to pressure Germany now to fully sanction Russia.

You need to be careful in criticizing Putin. He is considered a hero and a role model by some of our ultra-conservative brethren.

The main impact on us is all the wars and destruction in the middle east keeping energy prices much higher than they would otherwise be, which makes the cost of food and everything else high, unemployment higher, taxes higher to pay for all the wars,

Ammo wasn't specifically targeted for bans (yet) but even if/when it is most of the companies source from other countries as well. We'll still see lots of cheap surplus and aftermarket "Russian" ammo for a long, long time.

As for Putin blowing up the plane, sorry, it wasn't him. Big pharma did it to kill off the AIDS researchers.

Most of the people I shoot with have stock piled ammo .. I can see where poor folks could be harmed by the kenyans order. Powder is a common complaint ... Hard to find at times.

I preached and preached to folks during the last "sky is falling" to stock up on ammo. Some listened. Many did not.

I bought 1000 rounds of 7.62 about 5 months ago. All ammo was plentiful cept .22LR. I got plenty to last me
