So I got a letter saying our application was forwarded to the embassy in manila and it asked that my fiance go online and fill out the form DS-160. The form asks about vaccinations. Does she need to have vaccinations already or can she get these at her medical exam in manila? What all does she need to do before her interview in Manila? Do we contact the embassy or wait for them to contact us? Thanks for all of your help.

My fiancé put YES. He is bringing his medical records with him when he goes in to see doctors for his medical examination. He already has all of his vaccination records but will get the rest of what immigration wants before getting here. I search here with that same question before my fiancé filled out his DS-160, you will find that others will have said the same thing or answered YES also, He filled out the whole form and searched all of the answers if he didn't know how to answer them. I am so proud of him!

A lot of answers can be found on this site so just search for the answers that you need, if you need more help, private messaging others going through the same country's Embassy is extremely helpful since very embassy's requirements is a little different. I hope this helps you!

After a week that it has left TSC, then contact the NVC. Everytime you call them ask for the Case #. Once you are able to get the Case # than that means they have received it. Also make sure you ask when it has left the NVC. To check the status of your petition going from the NVC to the Embassy, check on the CEAC website with the case number they gave you. "AT NVC" for it has not left yet. "IN TRANSIT" speaks for itself. "READY" meaning it has arrived at the Embassy. Once you get the "READY" on the website than call the Embassy to make sure they received it in hardcopy form.

--- While waiting for the petition to arrive at the Embassy, gather your paperwork after the NOA2 and send to your fiance. It is not the I-864 (this is for later in the states). The form you will need to fill out is the I-134 for K1.

You are now ready to pay for the VISA and fill out the DS160 and schedule the Interview.

Your fiancee will get her vaccinations at St. Luke's, so answer YES to the vaccination question as they will give her a DS-3025 upon completion.

For what to do for the K-1 visa, follow the flashing arrow below in my sig, everything is listed there.

Now that you have your MNL # it is rock n roll time!

Pay the visa fee, schedule the interview, complete the medical ...

The pop over to the Philippines forum... great answers and assistance with all things in Manila

I had a death in the family that slowed me down in going through this process since my last post... So if I understand you all correctly all I need to do now is mail the I-134 and other supporting documents to my fiance and pay the $240 application fee so we can contact the embassy to schedule her interview?
