Good morning everyone.

Thanks for kind words and I wish everyone a quick and happy journey.

Does anyone know what the next steps are? I have read that we have wait for a number of weeks before the next step can begin. Is there anything we can do in the meantime?

What forms do we fill out? Or do we just have to wait until receive papers from the NVC?

Thanks,

For what i heard from my husbands cousin after u got the NOA2... You can start preparing all ur AOS so by the time the NVC came at least u have those already and u have less paper to accomplish...

This is just based on what i heard.. And u can still review the USCIS website for other requirements.

Hope it helps :)

Good morning afternoon.

My wife (USC) and I who are both living in Canada just received notification that out I-130 has been approved. So we are looking through the next steps. Since my wife is living with me, we are looking at all options that doesn't include her moving down before we file the I-864. With that in mind it appears that re-establishing domicile is the only way we can do that.

So just a couple of question regarding proof of re-establishment, which I am sure has been asked many times before, but I don't want to siff through many many pages of postings, so here they are.

1) My in-laws who live in Minnesota, but have a rental property in Chicago (where we intend to reside), have a lease drawn up by an attorney between us and them, would this qualify as a piece of evidence?

2) She has filed US tax returns while residing up here, does this help?

3) Submitting her Illinois state id?

4) Inquiring with a moving company?

5) We don' have kids so contacting a school doesn't apply.

6) If there is enough money in our bank account (125% above the poverty line) does that help?

If all this fails or is not enouugh, would having her parents be join sponsors on the I-864 help or be enough.

Looking forward to hearing some replies.

Yes! My husband and I did a rough calculation. Based on what we see, it looks as if USCIS is around 2 months behind (as they are just now working on May). So we are expecting a potential response in October, as long as everything runs smoothly.

I guess we just all have to hope for the best!

Thanks lerra66

As for ur question im not any of you mentioned.. actually my hubby and i just got married here in Philippines last March and its a very first time that my hubby filed a petition for me. Anything about the timeframe i'm not sure about that... base on what i heard or read the whole processing will take about 6 months or more from day 1 til ur case completed. And it also said that its case to case basis.

Thanks again and good luck on our journey :)

CONGRATULATIONS to you Rayselle !

your Noa2 approval is pretty quick huh !

May i ask if what did you include in your i-130 package for your proofs of bonafide marriage/ relationship ?

coz,im a little bit worried about mine coz we only include pictures of the wedding day,3rd party sworn affidavit from my family here in philippines and our lease contract.. do you think it is enough proof ? without pictures of us before we got married ,or any money transfers ?
