Hi,

I'm almost done completing my DS 260 application but there is one question that I'm still pondering about.

It's the : " Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law? "

I should answer "Yes" to this one right?

I have this International certificate of my vaccinations. I haven't had all the ones I saw have been listed as ones one should get when coming to the USA. But I have all the ones that have been advised for my country (Finland).

Does anybody have any experience on this? Did you have to get more vaccinations or all the vaccinations that are listed here below in order to get your visa?

  • Mumps
  • Measles
  • Rubella
  • Polio
  • Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids
  • Pertussis
  • Haemophilus influenzae type B
  • Hepatitis B
  • Any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices

Thank you very much for the help!!!

Best regards,

M

You'll get the vaccinations, or at least a certificate that you have the ones you need in accordance with US law, when you do your medical. So really, don't fuss about this now.

Technically unless you already have a US panel doctor medical done you should answer no to the question.

By the time of your interview the answer should be yes.

So.... I don't actually think it makes a difference which you answer. I would go with "no" as being the true and correct answer at this time but I don't think it really matters in the end.
