dv2014 Asia is cut off 13000 & it's way smaller than I expected ..

We'll have a better understanding next month. The next bulletin will show the first batch of cut-off numbers. If they start high then we have a high chance. If they start with low numbers then game over.

In 2009-2012 they started with high numbers and reached over 28K.

It's not as simplistic as that, and region dependent. Especially as you are comparing AS numbers to years where Bangladesh was in the draw.

Also you can't use 2012 as precedent for anything, it was a complete fiasco because of the redraw. They ended up way under their quotas for the year as a result - partly why all regions went current so early.

Bangladesh is not here but Iran, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Cambodia are. If someone can Nuke these countries then we'll all be good

The point was that Bangladesh had a huge number of respondents AND a very high refusal rate. That changes how many people they select on the basis of expected visas to be issued. Nepal also has a lot of selectees, but a very low refusal rate.
