I'm also applied from Chicago. Whats your file status, inline for interview or Initial review?

I sent file in May and finger print in 6/10/2014. Still my status is Initial review on the website. All other places (May filers) they are in line for interview or received interview letter.

I've been in line for interview since 06/26. I've seen people who have been in-line since the end of May. Looks like Chicago is going a bit slow, but still within 5 months. I wish more people would respond, so we can have a better idea.

I'm in Chicago too. Alix I responded to your PM - looks like you applied a few weeks after me but are ahead in the process as you got your fingerprints done so quickly. Maybe thats the difference between marriage vs. other?

I'm not sure why my biometrics was processed so quickly. I really don't know if applying based on marriage makes a difference. My original biometrics appointment was supposed to be on July 3rd but I walked in on June 24th.

I have a friend here in the Chicago area that had the whole process done within 3 months!!! Lucky girl!!

Hopefully we'll all get some great news soon!

Ok I'm glad to see that I'm not the only in Chicago that's still waiting for my interview date.

I was starting to get a bit worried lol since a lot of the April filers already have interview dates some are just waiting for their oath ceremony.

Just updating as I am now inline for interview. Looks like I am tracking slightly behind others but as long as the process keeps moving I'm all good. :-)

I wonder if it's the summer, so more people are on vacation, therefore the process is going a little slower. Or if there are more people applying right now.

The waiting is definitely the hardest part of this!
