Obama does not like to be checked or balanced so he tries to go around congress.

Obama ignores the constitution and had repeatedly issued illegal executive orders. Most recently the supreme court ruled that his appointments to the NLRB were illegal, and parts of obamacare were also ruled against.... that's another check and balance he does not like. Yes, he is acting like a dictator. I believe he would have been impeached long ago but the democratic party also ignores the constitution and blindly supports Obama.

If this were any other country, there would have been riots and rebellion...

I know congress is meant to check the excesses that could be rought by one party having too much power, but I don't think the current situation was envisaged. If congress simply says no to anything proposed by the current president, that's obstruction, not a check. The president does have a mandate too, and he was elected because of that mandate. Sadly, this does demonstrate that the current political system is broken and needs fixed in some way, but probably not by eliminating congress.

It's the electorate that is the problem.

Blind partisans act like sports fans. They're just groupies of their team, without principles. Their team PRETENDS to have principles but both teams are working for the banks and military-industrial-security complex along with other political donors.

I can't stand listening to them. Obama, Bush, etc. - lie to my face and call me stupid for believing what your speech writers painstakingly constructed. Every single word to deceive. But the electorate: Bush was worse than Obama was worse than Bush was worse than Obama was Bush did it too and Obama did it too.

Divide and conquer is what a two party system accomplishes. The same money powers own both of them and it is us who have been conquered.
