Since I last asked this question, she has completed the treatment and her observation ends on 28 April. We paid for the interview in Nov 2013 and it was cancelled by St lukes then. My worry is that the visa application has expired. I don't know what to do next besides trying to reach the embassy. Can anyone shed light?

Treatment is included in the medical fee at St. Luke's, plus if you test positive at St. Luke's you are required to do the DOT program through them or you will not pass your medical. DOT = Direct Obs

Nope doesn't change the tests.

Never lie during this process. The thing with TB is it kills, plus it is a contagious disease ... better to be cured. We for sure don't want active cases of TB arriving here in the States.

I would call the embassy, but it is very possible the embassy will say to pay another visa fee. What was the delay that you burned over a year since paying the visa fee?

Please keep us posted. According to the embassy website a new visa fee has to be paid, so it would be great to know if they make exceptions.

Accepted March 19, 2014 Text message with receipt numbers

Biometrics April 16, 2014 Biometrics completed

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued
