Two part question

I have a two parter here. Firstly, I am an Australian currently in the US and wish to change my WT visa into a B2 tourist visa. If I go to the consulate in Nogales, Mexico, can I cancel my WT and apply for a B2 there?


Secondly if this is successful I will then apply for a motorcycle permit back in the US so I can ride legally here. After wards I wish to ride my motorcyle to Mexico. Will I be allowed into Mexico with just a US permit or will I need a Mexican permit or US license in order to cross into Mexico?
