A couple questions because of conflicting information every time I call appointment scheduling phone number.

I have my computer on all the time watching for available appointment. The operator today at Manila embassy stated that on the main dashboard screen if a available date appears. That it is not for a K1 visa. The only way to know if there is an available date is to push continue until last screen.

Is this true?

Also conflicting info on if packet is needed for interview scheduling. Many people say no. But the call center operators in manila argue that it is needed. It has been three weeks since approved NVC case after embassy recieved it. And still no packet

Do you need packet to go forward?

You were misinformed about the scheduling. You go to your dashboard and constantly refresh the screen (F5) - or use Firefox C4C - automatically refreshes the screen. And you wait. And wait. And wait some more. Eventually - if you wait long enough - days, weeks...more than a month...some slots will be released and if you're lucky, you'll be able to get one. Literally thousands of people are trying to get an interview appointment...my wife and I included! This is the most absurd system considering what is going on.

Good Luck.

As for the packet...if you have your MNL #...go to the Embassy website and download the K1 packet. It will tell you what you need to do.

Ingat!!!

Nope, not true. You stay on the dashboard screen and watch for a date to appear on the left side, if you see a date then click continue (above in blue menu). Keep refreshing the screen and stay persistent.

You have your MNL # and you paid your visa fee... now watch for an opening.
