USCIS Online Updates Non-existent

Hello, everyone!

I seem to be breaking my promise of not posting often. But I'm really liking this forum! Anyway, I don't know if this is in the right section or not, so apologies in advance! This type of AOS is what I am doing though.

I have not seen any updates on the USCIS online system since they initially received my application. It shows as "Initial Review" for both the I-130 and I-765, and "Acceptance" for the I-485. Meanwhile, we've had an RFE that we responded to (just sent it in today, within a week of receiving it, but mail is slooow). I thought the online system would show you RFEs... we could have acted so much quicker if we had know on the day it was issued rather than when it got to be by mail. It was dated June 13th, but only got to me on June 19th.

So, has anyone else had issues with the online system not updating at all? Or is it just not supposed to show RFEs? (I thought some of their instructions say it does...) It's driving me a bit crazy, I check it compulsively, almost every weekday.

The online system is not accurate and not connected to your real case, so please, stop checking it It will sit and do nothing until something is approved. It is meaningless. Good luck.

The online system is notoriously unreliable, so as Harpa advised, don't hold your breath for it to update real time. So far, most are not as lucky as the few who received updates, so better not to depend on it at all. My I-485 is also in Acceptance mode since the NOA, which is 3 months ago. My I-131 and I-765 jumped from Initial Review to Card Production (which is within the processing time frame of 60-90 days). So don't think too much about it, you are not alone.
