I am just pizzed that I can't get the blood elf chicks hair doos. What server is ev1 on? Malorne here.

Onyxia server here.. PvP FTW!!11!!

yea, i agree, the blood elf chicks have very nice hair.. even the guys have these crazy do's

Not sure about the Fabio do's.

We have found Wow is actually saving us money. We pile up together in the bed or on the sofa and play. For less than 30 bucks a month for the two of us it's a date a few nights a week during the winter months when nothing else to do. As the old saying goes, "the couple that plays together stays together"! :P

yea i know a few WoW couples that actually enjoy questing together and stuff, it means no spending money in movies, dinners or stuff.. hey.. running ZG or Molten Core with your boo, what else can u ask for? lol (well besides fighting for the epix gear) that's 3 hours of quality MMOPRG time

unfortunately my ole' lady doesn't like video games..

*sigh* my last day on WOW will be thursday.... :crying:

oh nooooooooes! why??

time, energy, and my hubby and I are making sacrifices to save some money to put towards our debt ( 3 credit cards paid off, one to go!) He gave up DDO, and I gave up WoW. I'm still up in the air whether or not to vendor everything on my main and completely delete her, or just retire her for now.

Awww!! Hubby and I actually save alot of money playing this together hehe.

Anyhow, I'm installing the expansion as we speak, my copy didn't get here until this morning and then I had to go to work, bleh real life :P

I'm so excited! :)

I would love it if my hubs got into WoW.....I think it is great when couples play. I mean we both like to play computer games but he is more into the shoot 'em up and instant gratification stuff, although he did buy us a golf game to play together........but, honey, I run around in tight pants, flowing blonde hair wielding a huge mace kicking azz..........I am not sure how excited I can get over golf anymore ...... :P

My oldest son (17) is on our guild as well, so it turns into family game night without the game board in the middle of the dining room table. We quest and run dungeons with another married couple all the time. We just aren't a family that piles in front of the television. I feel like we all get a bit more mental stimulation gaming vs tv, you are constantly planning strategies, using math, solving problems and situations so the brain goes into overdrive. The other positive I know where my son and girlfriend are ALL the time. ;)

Tim and I played Runescape together while we were across the pond from one another. We have just bumped it up a notch or 2 or 3....... It is really great fun. We still play monopoly and trivial pursuit at times.

My Warrior is lvl 28

Mage 27

Pally 16

Being in the UK I find it hard to group....so have to solo mainly, but have found a decent guild that will help me run instances when I need to, so maybe I will move along a bit quicker........

well, yall are invited to Onyxia server, it's pvp, and my guild is very laid back, we aren't in a hurry to become th #1 raiding guild.. actually out of a 100 players we only have like 10 or 12 60's.. and many of them rerolled a blood elf. so its starting again..

OMG someone already hit lvl 70 today!!

"It didn’t take long for WoW mage character Gawell, of France, to tackle the feat.

According to G4 Tech TV, he played for some 28 straight hours once the expansion launched, giving him the title of WoW king.

Gawell’s real name is Gullerbone (um, we’re told). He’s 24 years old and a member of French guild Millenium. All 40 members helped Gullerbone complete the achievement, which has World of Warcraft players around the world shaking their heads in disbelief. However, we can't help but think the entire strategy was devised so that Gullerbone could find a girlfriend.

"Come to this realm often?"

its a role playing game, u choose from several races (depends if u want to be the 'good guys' or the 'bad guys'.. humans, undead, trolls, orcs, blood elves, night elves) and each race has a class, warriors, hunters, rogues, magi, etc...

u start from lvl 1, and killing monsters and doing 'quests' (go and kill this dude, go and collect 10 pieces of this thing) u earn experience, then u advance lvls, each lvls u learn new spells or abilities that help u kill monsters easier.. so it gets harder, u have to do some quests with other people, and learn professions, tailoring, leatherworking, enchanter, which makes items to wear or sell in an auction house (there's a virtual economy in each server, and items can be inflated or not), then from certain dungeons u get special weapons or gear that have very cool 'stats' (how much damage u make, how much stamina extra)..

much like dungeons and dragons, but without dices, or 'turns'.. and there's a whole world with now 3 continents to explore, they are biig.. and thanks to the expansion ur character can go up to level 70, which takes a while.

yea, its fun, but it's addictive like crack..
