Hey,

So, I've been living abroad with my fiance in Serbia for the past year. I have no checks to use for payment of this petition. I still haven't heard back from the embassy here on what to do. How can I pay for the petition? Is it possible to do it online? Can I pay for it at the embassy?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the forum.

The payment scheme that seems to work for folks similarly situated as yourself, is to send your completed petition packet to a parent or sibling, etc. stateside, have them insert a personal check for the amount of the fee, drawn on a US bank, into the packet and mail it (return receipt requested/delivery confirmation) on to the Lewisville, TX lockbox. We have used USPS for all of our USCIS submissions, YMMV. They work out the debt settlement privately.

Good luck on your visa journey.
