  1. I m trying to fill my I751 to Remove Conditions on Permanent Residence to get the 10 years green card. I have couple more question my first question is I went to USCIS and i have seen for Kentucky i have to fill to Texas address but they have 2 address one for USPS and one for FedEx/UPS/DHL does it matter which one i send to? My second question is do i have send a check to pay for Biometrics fee or not, by the way we do not have kids. I hope you guys answer my questions i really appreciate it. Thank you.
  2. If your EAD (work permit) is going to expire soon and your application for change of status (green card) is still pending, is the renewal fee of $495 applicable? Or is it included in the initial I 485 application fee? I know that wait times are a much as 5 months. Want to start this as soon as possible. Thanks!
  3. Hello. My fiance was approved to come to the United States four weeks ago on a K-1 fiance visa. We must pay the USCIS immigration fee for $165. I have tried sooo many times to pay this fee by entering his A number and DOS case id number EXACTLY as it is found on his paperwork. Every single time I receive an error message that his numbers have not been found in their system. What should I do? There is not an immigration office in my city and I am starting to get really worried about paying this fee seeing we are about to get married and apply for a green card.
  4. In the process of putting my petition for k1 Visa together and I'm wondering if the filing fee (which will be paid using a money order) should be put in the I-129F packet?
  5. Hi Everyone, I applied two weeks ago for the renewal of my EDA (category C9) and travel permit. I have a pending I-485. I just got a rejection notice for my I-765 because I didn't pay the fee but at the same time, my travel permit (I-131) has been accepted. I will send the documentation again but I have a couple of questions: - Do I need to pay for the renewal? The instructions are not clear. - In case, I have to pay 410$, correct? Biometric fee (85$) not required. - On the USCIS website, they say that the form I-765 and I-131 (I haven't receipt yet the I-797 only the email) must file together, but now I don't know if I have to send only the I-765 (given that the I-131 has been accepted or again both together? Can someone help me? Thank you in advance. Best, Andrea
  6. I submitted a question to a different forum category regarding the multiple filer waiver and was also commenting that I see that things have possibly changed since I filed previously (Twice: 2008 & 2014) and it was suggested that I sent some things with the initial I-129F that altho did not delay anything they were not necessary at that point- In the past I also included with the I-129F form both (Mine, the petitioner and hers, the beneficiary) of our G-325 / Biographical Info forms as well as my I-134 / Affidavit of Support form; Are these required at this point or are they to be submitted later? As I mentioned in my previous blog, both of my cases were approved within approx 7 months with no delays or issues... Thanks again much for your input!
  7. Hello, We were waiting on a GC to arrive in the mail a few months after entry into the United States. To make a long story short, we never received the card, although USPS claims it was delivered to our mailbox 2 months ago (during which I called USCIS and they told me the card had yet to be printed, it wasn't until a week ago they provided me tracking info). Does anyone have any experience/success filing the I-90 form to replace the GC and not paying the fee? I haven't been able to get a straight answer from USCIS, but during one call they claimed I could "easily" call USPS (an oxymoron) and request that they, on official letterhead, simply state that they messed up the delivery. While I believed this at the time, I've since tried calling USPS and aside from not even getting a human on the other line, I also predict it impossible for them to assume responsibility. Anyone with advice or experiences on how to request a replacement and avoid the fee is greatly appreciated!
  8. Hi I am a first time poster and have realised a huge mistake in my AOS documentation i sent off to the Chicago Lockbox 2 weeks ago. I firstly did not realise that the I-130/a forms had a seperate fee of $535...stupid of me I know! Worse still I also did not realise i had to submit I-130a with the package. I cannot believe I made such mistakes after working on the forms for weeks!! I'm just wondering does anyone know the best course of action? I am due a call back from the Tier 2 customer service today, so I will ask them has my package been sent back. Does anyone have any experience with how long it will take them to send me the package back? I am so sick over this, I cannot believe I made such a silly mistake :-(
  9. Hey. We just paid both of the NVC fees 5 days ago on April 5th. They are still showing "in process". We have decided we want to move to America as soon as possible if the Visa is accepted. Our interview will find place In Stockholm, Sweden. Does anyone have a rough estimate of when we can hope to be able to move to the US? I know there's always a chance of getting denied and having to send in more evidence etc. But if all goes well, what should we expect? Thanks guys!

    Visa Fee

My interview is coming up in less than 2 weeks. I see on here that you can pay your visa fee in advance but it doesn't say where to go to pay it? Does anybody know? Thanks!! I
  11. Hi I'm soon going to be filling for my mother the form I-130 but what do I put on the money order? Who do I address the money order to? And is the fee still $535?
  12. Wondering if others were asked for their receipt of payment of the visa fee payed at embassy interview...? Or if at moment of payment do we give information linked to our case to prove we effectively payed for the visa fee? Help! Thanks

  14. Hi all, After submitting the DS-160 a payment needs to be made for the K-1 visa. I am seeing a lot of info regarding fees for specific visa types but I am having a hard time finding out how and where I should actually make the payment (...online via credit card hopefully). 15. I have a friend who is here in the US as a refugee from Iran. His Iranian passport has expired. He does have a green card. If he travels to Turkey, will he need to pay the re entry fee, or does the green card mean he would not have to pay that? I have tried to call USCIS many times, but cannot get a real person. Thanks in advance for your help.
  16. I'm reading that the fee is $1140 to file for the I-864, I-131, and I-765 at the same time. But then I'm reading that there's an $85 biometric fee. So do I write a check for the total of those two numbers or just the $1140 for now and pay the biometric fee when the time comes?
  17. Hello, I had a few questions. Most of them I think they are right, but just wanted to make sure they are correct. Sorry if I am asking obvious questions, do not want to do something wrong. - I am US Citizen - My wife is conditional resident --------- 1.) USCIS Online Account Number: - I am not sure if I have the online account number. Where to find out? Leave blank or put N/A if we dont have one? 2.) Proof of Marriage: - Does that need to be from marriage to current? Or the date of arrival to US to present? 3.) Fee: - According to Form, the I-751 fee is $595. Bio metric fee is $85 - Should we sent Check of $595 from our Joint Bank Account, or both 595+85 = 680? 4.) Affidavits from Family Friends - When we made those affidavits, we printed 2 and made them sign/notarized both just in case we needed extra - ok to send original or send only photo copy? 5.) Case Number on all documents - When I did the CR-1 Visa Immigrant Process, I put case numbers on all the documents in case papers get misplace or lost. - Is it ok to put case numbers on the documents or evidence? 6.) N/A in forms: - I know we are suppose to put "N/A' on parts of the form that does not apply to us. - Example: (Children Section) We can put N/A in the 1st line. Do not have to put N/A in every blank right? 7.) Part 7 of I-751 Form: - Suppose to choose option "1a" under Petitioners? We are filling out the forms together. - She would be the petitioner right? I would put her info. - Acknowledgement of Appointment at USCIS Application Support Center: Her name needs to be filled out right? 8.) Part 8 of I-751 Form; - Same as Part 7, but details about me right? Thank you.
  18. Hi! I'm going to file for a EAD/advance parole replacement card, my first one was approved and "delivered to me" USPS never took responsibility for this but at the beginning they did accept over the phone that they delivered somewhere else but never agree to write a letter for USCIS. So I'll be sending in the package the forms I-765 and I-131 together with the required documentation plus I-797 of pending I-485, and I-797 notice of approval for I-765 and I-131. My question is if I will need to pay 410 $ + 85 $ biometric fee if my I-485 is still pending, I called USCIS and they told me that I have to pay the fee bu then in the USCIS website they don't say anything about replacement fee, and I've also read in another immigration forums people who had to pay a fee, it's everything very confusing. I hope if somebody here has gone through the same situation can answer my question. Thanks!
  19. Hi, I noticed that the instructions say Bank Draft, but the picture that they show is a personal check. I do have personal checks with a bank in the US, would writing a check count as a bank draft? Or do I have to get an actual bank draft?
