Hi, (Hope I'm not in the wrong forum topic)

I am currently in the process of applying to get my fiance a K-1 Visa. Our paperwork has been accepted and is processing at the consulate.

My question: I want to move - what is the best way to go about this and at during what step in this process would create the least amount of potential problems (sooner the better)? I've been warned that moving during the process can be troublesome for the various steps between now and full US naturalization. Any help with this or the procedure would be great!

Thanks!

So you, the USC, want to move from one location to another within the United States? The easiest way of course is to get it done before you file, so you don't have to update your address once you do file. But there is no problem doing it during the pendency of the matter. Just make sure to file a change of address with the US Post Office so you don't miss out on important mailings.

It would be easiest to move before filing for AOS, then you can just use your new address on the AOS forms, and no need to put in a change of address with the USCIS or miss any mailings.
